CHICOPEE – Kathleen A. (Saulway) Coburn, 90, a resident of Chicopee for the past 37 years, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Birch Manor Nursing Home in Chicopee. Kathleen was born Feb. 27, 1922 in Huntington, MA and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Parmlee) Saulway. She was employed at Providence Hospital in Holyoke as the secretary to the plant engineer for maintenance for 20 years and retired in 1984. She leaves her husband of 37 years, Jerome Coburn, 2 sons, Clarence Lamothe of Springfield and Roderick Lamothe of Holyoke, 4 grandchildren, Eli Lamothe, Ollie Crevier, Zachary Lamothe and Brittanny Jean Smith as well as 4 great grandchildren and many extended family members. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a Chapel Service to be held at 11 a.m. in the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
